How about getting your website into surfers bookmarks in the first place?

Promote your website by getting it into the example bookmark-collection that we deliver with WebMarX. Every new installation of WebMarX comes with a pre-installed set of example bookmarks, well categorized and tagged.

We will add your link to this collection into the right category (directory) and add the best fitting tags to it. If your link doesn`t really fit into the existing categories, you may decide the name for a new category.

How does it work?

That`s very simpe: You tell us the link to your web site, a short description to add to the entry, the desired category and tags to add to the entry. We visit your site and decide if it fits into the collection. If so we will tell you and add the link to the collection as ordered.

What does it cost?

That`s not that simpe: The price depends on the popularity of your required category, the monthly download rate of WebMarX, your required time-span to include it in the distribution-packages and a few more facts. Please

Quality, Decency and Legality

That are the core principles of our decision process which sites will be added to the collection. If you sympathise with the following guidelines, your link will surely fit very well into the collection:

Limited entries

To avoid overwelming our users, the total amount of links in the collection is limited to 1350 by the following rules:
  • The amount of main categories is limited to 15.
  • Each main category containes maximum 5 sub categories.
  • There will be no further sub categories beyond the 2. level.
  • Each category (main and sub) may contain up to 15 links.
There are two special places: On to of the list are residing the two links to the WebMarX home page (this site) and createweb.de, our corporate site. Below this two links there are two more places, reserved for projects that have deserved to be promoted explicitly, maybe of humanitarian reasons or similar issues. If you think that you know a project the world should know of, please tell us.

Quality

An important aspect of the decision is how well a new link will fit into the context of the entire collection as well as in the desired category or maybe other categories. We will make sure that your content will be found in the right context.

We will also have a look at the quality of a new site. That refers to the content as well as to the page-layout where layout first of all means readability and structure, the design only as far as it plays into this aspects. The content should be hold in a moderate speech and communicate an honest interest. On the technical side we will only add sites that are fairly clean programmed and free of abusive techniques. No trash, no junk no intrusive marketing methods.

Ethics, Decency and Law

The ethical spectrum for new links is rather clear stated:

  • No violence of any kind
  • No arms and weapons of any kind
  • No war games or similar offers
  • No porn, erothics only on rare occasions in the context of art
  • No kind of commercial gambling sites like online-casinos or poker
  • No content that infringes any laws
  • No kind of environmental or health abuse like gen-manipulated seeds
  • No radical statements of any kind
  • No abusive or insulting language or other content
